Brief Answer:
Not due to DVT.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain behind the knee and mild swelling that you have is more likely to be due to inflammatory changes in the joint due to arthritis. This is not related to DVT. A pain and swelling in the calf with increase in the pain on walking are suggestive of DVT. In case there are no such symptoms then there is no need to rush to ER.
You can start taking Tablet Tylenol ( Acetaminophen) Double Strength after breakfast and after dinner. It is suggested to add calcium supplements 500mg each twice daily. This will take care of your mild symptoms in 3-5 days. In case the pain persists or increases then do consult an orthopedician for a physical examination.
I hope this answers your query.
