Brief Answer:
Muscle spasm

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

There are various causes for pain below the ribs area like Injuries, Muscle spasm or gastritis etc.

I would suggest you to try some home remedies like keeping a hot water bag over the area, sprays like volini or moov, stretching exercises, lots of fluid intake. You can also take Tab. nucoxia twice daily for 2 days and Tab zerodol-P twice daily for 2 days if you have pain.

If your symptoms persists or worsens i would suggest you to meet your family doctor for further examination and treatment.

I hope this answers your query.
