What Causes Pain During Defecation And Recurrent Vaginal Bleeding Post Surgical Abortion?

Question: 14 days ago I underwent a surgical abortion. 4 days ago I spoke to the doctor who did my procedure because I was suffering from sharp stabbing pains in my uterine area and having pains during bowel movements. I was started on antibiotics for an infection as I my bleeding had stopped I've been on the antibiotics for 4 days now the pains have gone but I'm still suffering from pains during my bowel movements and my bleeding has come back first as brown spot bleeding now heavier. I don't want to keep bugging the doctor should I be concerned? I also have been feeling lethargic and suffering from headaches

Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
I would suggest you to get your ultrasound scan done to rule out retained products of conception, infection and other causes.
But before giving my opinion I want to know that are you bleeding more?
Are you having fever?
Any urinary symptoms like pain and frequency during urination?
Pain during bowel movement can be due to fissure,tear or haemorrhoids can only be diagnosed after examination.
Headache and lethargy can be due to sudden drop in pregnancy hormone after abortion.
So basically in my opinion you should get your ultrasound scan done to rule out retained products of conception.
