Brief Answer: AS BELOW Detailed Answer: Hello THanks for writing to us with your health concern. When intercourse happens from the rear end ( vaginally ), then the male partner is more likely to hit your cervix. That is much more pain sensitive. During missionary style sex, the cervix is rarely hit unless there is real deep penetration. To avoid pain during this position , use proper lubrication. Guide the penile insertion yourself so you can decide the proper depth and range of penetration. Also, ask your partner to be very gentle / switch to the front facing position close to orgasm to avoid vigorous penetration. Get a pelvic ultrasound scan and internal evaluation ( per vaginum and per speculum ) done to rule out endometriosis which could sometimes present this way. All the best PLease feel free to discuss further.
