Question : I had bladder cancer 5 years ago. I have been cancer free since then. On XXXXXXX 22 I had my 6 month exam where my doctor examines my bladder via a camera inserted thru the penis. I received an all clear exam from this and tests run on my urine the same day. Twice today I have seen what looked to be small scabs in my urine. I have not been experiencing any pain when I urinate but I do have to go more frequently and the urges are very strong. Any thoughts what this could be and what should my next course of action be?
Brief Answer:
Bladder cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I do not believe there is anything to worry from the moment that the tests did not shows any problems. You should drink more fluids and follow the situation to see the progress of the symptoms
You may have a urinalysis too.
Hope I have answered your query.

are you saying I may have a reoccurance of bladder cancer?
Could the tests that were performed on 1/22/18 have given me wounds inside and what I am seeing is scabs from these wounds

Ok I am confused. The brief answer is stated as bladder cancer. Is that meant to imply that my bladder cancer as returned?
Then your response says that I have not had a reoccurrence of the bladder cancer, but then offers the possibility that this could be from scabs caused by the six month exam. Is it feasible that these scabs could be from an exam that was performed on 1/22/18?
What do you recommend ?
1. worry all weekend then no further action required
2. worry all weekend see my family physician
3. worry all weekend see my urologist
4. relax, drink plenty of fluids, see my urologist
5. none of the above, stop trying to the doctor

Brief Answer:
Scabs
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The brief answer meant the topic we're discussing here. It doesn’t mean that your cancer has returned. Please don’t be concerned as it’s possible that the scabs are from the 6-month exams that you have had.
In my opinion, just relax, drink plenty of fluids.
