Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your description, these symptoms require further workup. GERD and gastritis can present similarly. However, if there are any alarm symptoms that include weight loss, blood loss/anemia, pain upon swallowing (known as dysphagia) then an upper GI endoscopy must be considered to rule out any sinister cause. For now PPIs like lansoprazole and antiemetics/ pro kinetics such as metoclopramide can be advised empirically for the presenting symptoms. Blood pressure should be recorded and an EKG can also be advised in this regard.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
