Question : does throwing up once per day hurt your heart....if so what precautions should be taken?
Brief Answer:
No, it wont affect your heart.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Throwing up once a day won't harm your heart.
But you need to find out why you are throwing up.
As your age is above 60, I would suggest you get an Upper GI endoscopy. You also need a physical examination. Please visit your doctor to get an examination.
In the meantime, I would suggest you take capsule omeprazole which is available as an over the counter medication once daily.
I would also advice you to avoid Alcohol, Tobacco, Carbonated drinks, Limit tea / coffee to less than 3 cups, avoid meat, citrus fruits and chocolate.
Hope this helps
