Carpal tunnel syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your query and understand your concerns.
In my opinion, most likely cause of your symptoms is carpal tunnel syndrome, or compression of the median nerve at wrist.
Other less likely causes of your symptoms could be arthritis of the cervical spine and herniated disc disease of the spine, both conditions that affect nerve function by compression.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is an easely diagnosed condition that requires a neurological examination and nerve conduction study of the affected arm and hand.
So, I suggest you to discuss with a Neurologist your concerns.
Treatment is usually achieved by a small surgical procedure that releases the compression on the median nerve by cutting off extensor retinaculum.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Greetings.
