Question : inability to walk because of pain in left groin female
Brief Answer:
I want to know little detail about your illness
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your questions. Groin can be due to enlarge lympnodes or it can be due to nerve compression. Hip joint problems can also cause such pain. Before I advise you anything, I want to know little details about your illness.
1. Since when you are having this pain?
2. Are you able to sit cross leg or on floor without pain?
3. Are you also having back pain?
Please send me answers of these. I will try my best to help you.
Thanks.

1. I have been having this pain since my lumbar fusion surgery
2. I am unable to sit cross leg on floor
3. I am having pain in my sacroiliac joint
The pain in my groin is distressing me as I am having great difficulty in walking. I live in the country. I had my operation in our capital city Brisbane....which is 4 hours away. Hope you can advise me as to what is causing this problem...thank you Dr. XXXXXXX for taking the time to consult me. Lyn Drews

Brief Answer:
I would suggest you few investigations
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think there are two possibilities in your case.
1. It can be Hip synovitis or Hip arthritis. It can be conformed by MRI of the hip joint.
2. Other cause can be nerve compression. That will also need MRI to confirm.
So please get these two investigations, and according to that we can decide further management.
Please send me these reports of these investigation.
Thanks.
