Brief Answer:
Can be due to calcium and D3 deficiency.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in hands and legs like you are having are often found in calcium, vitamin D and magnesium deficiency. A subclinical viral infection, stress, anxiety, poor posture and unhealthy eating habits with inadequate sleep can also lead to such symptoms.
I suggest you to consult a physician and get prescribed vitamin D and magnesium supplements. Your symptoms should improve with that. Also eat magnesium rich foods like bananas, beans, chickpeas, fish, nuts, soybeans, spinach etc which are natural sources of magnesium.

Regarding vitamin D levels, you need to take a XXXXXXX of vitamin D with milk or curd once a week for 8 weeks and then once a month. Each XXXXXXX contains 60,000 IU of vitamin D. But these should be taken only after getting your vitamin D levels checked.

I hope this answers your query.

Thank you Dr XXXXXXX for a prompt reply, just some more clarity required.

Pain is only on the joint areas and not in entire hand or leg.

Still you would recommend me to go for a Vitamin D test before taking calcium sachet?

What is a normal range of vitamin D for an adult like me?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to other causes also.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The pain localized only to the joints can be due to calcium, Vitamin D deficiency or rheumatoid arthritis or other inflammatory disorders. In case the levels of calcium and D3 come normal then other causes of inflammation in the joints needs to be explored.

Normal Vitamin D3 levels in adult should be between 20 nanograms/milliliter to 50 ng/mL.

Hope my answer is helpful.
