I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It is likely that you are having osteoarthritis of hips as it is common in your age. It can be confirmed by x ray of both hips with pelvis AP view . Diacerine and glucosamine are helpful. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You also advised to get treated your diabetes. You are also advised to get your vitamin D level as vitamin D deficiency is important cause of such pain. If found low vitamin D3 supplements can be taken.
