Question : Hi Doctor,

My wife is 7 months preganant and she has no complications.since last night she has severe ache in her left arm below the elbow .your suggestion

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about pain in left arm.

Following is my reply:

1) Pregnancy is associated with hormonal changes and prone to pains.

2) It is possible that she has lifted some weight or hand was stuck below her while sleeping which is causing increasing pain.

3) Such pain generally reduces in 2 to 3 days. I advice not to take any medicines but wait and watch.

4) Meanwhile ask her not to life weight or do anyheacy work from left hand.
