Question: Hi

I am 35 year old Male . I weigh 102 kgs and had a RIRS + URS procedure a month back for left urter system.Stent was removed after days of stent insertion.

I Got an UTI After 3 days of stent removal with fever for 4 days. .I was placed on antibiotics for 5 days during which fever receded in 4 days . I was also in antibiotics between stent insertion and removal.

I will like to mention that i am hypertensive and am taking medication for it for last 6 months. I was also detected as dyslipidemia with high tryglycerides and total cholestral and am taking medication for it for last 10 days now.

I will also like to mention that i devolped vertigo after rirs and it is still there (i am taking medication for it as well)

Due to bad cholestrol doctor asked me to do some physical activities . I started cycling . But when i cycle there is stiffness and pain in my left flank esp kidney and this raidates to my hip.

I mentioned it to my urologist . He ordered KFT & USG + PVR. My KFT was normal and USG too(reports attached)
My USG mentioned my left probe is tender and appreceated. Doctor said it is fine

But i still face same left flank stiffness and pain when i cyxle and it is persistent .

Is cycling causing this pain? If not then why is this pain if my reports are ok? Is there a possibility of any other kidney disease

I am little worried now

Thanks

Brief Answer:
avoid cycling, nothing serious

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Your reports are normal at present.
Pain in flank region may be due to urinary tract infection or some local abdominal pathology.
As usg is normal with no collection or pus, possibility of serious abnormalities is less.
You can repeat urine examination for UTI.
You can stop cycling as it requires more use of abdominal pain. You can brisk walk in morning for healthy lifestyle.
Hope you found the answer helpful
