Brief Answer:
may be due to hormonal imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I can understand your concerns.

The probable reason for breast changes during menstrual cycleis hormonal changes.

As you near your ovulation, there is rise in blood estrogen levels. This can cause pain sometimes.

If physical examination has not revealed any lump, there is no need to worry.
If you still have any doubts, you can go for ultrasound of breast to rule out any lump.

Anxiety can be another cause for this.
You can take ibuprofen if pain increases.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
Thanks.
