Brief Answer:
MRI of thoraco-lumbar spine

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that your have three different problems:
1. Gall bladder stone.
2. Kidney stones.
3. excruciating lower back pain with shooting pain down the left leg.

Kidney stone can cause lower back pain. However since this excruciating pain spreads down the leg, I would recommend that we rule out inter-vertebral disc problem. This pain is most probably not related to the stones in the gall bladder or the kidney. Therefore I would advise you the following:
To go for MRI of the Thoraco-lumbar spine to get the proper diagnosis and get in consultation of the Neurosurgeon for clinical investigations.

The gall stones are treated by removal of the gall bladder and the Kidney stones treatment will depend upon the site, size and other parameters.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper early diagnosis for the excruciating pain and get a proper treatment.
Please feel free to ask for relevant further queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Brief Answer:
Disc compressing upon the nerve supplying the left leg as the most probable

Detailed Answer:
As per the history you have provided, the pain in the left leg can be due to the protruding disc compressing on the nerves in the back area. This causes the shooting pain down the left leg.
Do you have any other symptoms?

Brief Answer:
I think you need to go to the ER.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Please go to ER as headache with nausea and high blood pressure are not a good symptom complex. These indicate that you need a clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor and get the necessary investigations done.
Anxiety may be due to the multiple problems you have.
Neurological disorders, dementia and concussion due to playing pro football will be evaluated at the same time and you shall be referred to the Neurologist who will take care of the backache with shooting pain down the leg.
