What Causes Pain In Lower Legs And Burning Sensation Of Soles?

Question: Hi, I wake up with aching lower legs , it's just a pain from my knee downwards, and sometimes burning under the soles of my feet.

It's been about two weeks now, but the last three days the pain starts at around 7 in the evening. The burning of my soles hasn't been regular. I have no disease,and am only on the pill.

It can be neuropathy

Hello Madam,
It looks to me that you are having neuropathy. Pain in evening and burning sensation is typical feature in nerve diseases.There can be two causes of it.
1. It can be serum B 12 deficiency.
2. It can be a pinch nerve in spine.

To find out diagnosis, I would order for
1. Serum B 12 estimation
2. MRI of the L-S spine

Discuss about the tests with your treating doctor. In the interim, I would start you on tablet Pregabalin M daily for one month. It's a prescription only medicines. Your doctor will know about it.
