What Causes Pain In Lower Part Of Stomach And Gas?
Question: I have pain on my left side and the lower part on the left side and I funny movement in these areas it reals real weird hurts more when I walk and at night when I lay down I have had a colonoscopy it was normal and sometimes I have burning in those area and in the lower part of my stomach and gas and my stool smells real bad

ok once again how come as soon as i wake up in the morning i start having systems pain gas ifeel like my colon is so swollen could it be diverticulitis or a ulcer in my stomach sense my left side stomach has pain and burning i really think something is wrong

he has me omeprazole 20mg and also i got my report back and it said that i had diverticulose could that explain why im having pain and also could it be ibs i do have to force to have abowel movement and gas but my left colon feels like its hot inside please dont think im crazy what are the system of inflamation of the pelvic?

With the finding of diverticulosis, IBS is completely out of the way. We would never mention IBS if a pathological condition is identified. However, diverticuloses are generally silent unless a complication sets in. With this severe pain that you have reported, your doctors would want to check if there are any possible complications that can explain these symptoms.
Also, have you ever had an upper GI scope? It may be of value to look at what is going on in the stomach and early portion of the duodenum. This is even more important as you seem to have no relief from omeprazole.

I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW I WENT TO SEE A NEW DOCTOR AND READ MY REPORT ON MY COLONOSCOPY AND HE THINKS ITS IBS TOO. THE DOCTOR PRESCRIBE AMITRIPTYLINE I TOOK IT LAST NIGHT WHEN I WOKE I FELT 80 PER CENT THAN I HAVE IN 6 MONTHS STILL A LITTLE PAIN AND STILL FELL FOOD IN MY COLON BUT NOTHING LIKE IT WAS.THE DOCTOR IT COULD TAKE A MONTH TO REALLY FEEL NORMAL I HOPE. I DIDNT EAT MUNCH TODAY BRCAUSE IM SCARED THE PAIN WILL COME BACK. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THESE OTHER DOCTOR DIDNT DO THIS I WAS AT ER 5 OR 6 TIMES FOR THIS 3 OTHERS DOCTOR AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ALL IN MY HEAD

DEAR DR. Your sleep apnea is concerning and the drop in O2 and heart rates are severe. I think you need a home breathing aid like CPAP machines to ensure that you don't fall this low in your sleep. Talk to your doctor for this and if you have seen a pulmonologist in the past, follow up with him and if not, consider seeing one.

yea im somewhat over weight i had a total hystereny 2 years ago and thats when all my problems started. now i have diarreha real bad and the pain is still there.i just dont know what to do.
