Brief Answer:
Could be radiating pain from a descending stone

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

renal colic usually has to do with renal stones. Renal stones originate in the kidney but may descend down the urinary tract and be expelled from the body by urination. As the stone descends the location of the pain changes. When the stone is in the kidney, the patient feels flank pain. When the stone approaches the bladder, the patient may feel urgency or burning or numb pain etc. Sometimes the pain radiates to the gennitalia.
So this is not a healing procedure but most likely a descending stone.
I hope I've helped!
