Brief Answer:
You should follow the medical advice given to you.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
In my opinion, pain you feel is not related to Meth use.
If your Doctors found there is something wrong with your hip joint and it needs to be treated surgically, you should follow their advice.
There is possibility of bone metastases at your hip from your past prostate cancer, but this should be evaluated by imaging studies.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
