What Causes Pain In My Pelvic Area And Hot Sensation In Legs?

Question: Okay so I am a bit concerned and dont know if this could actually be serious. I am going to the doctor on friday but I'm scared of what they are going to say.
For about 6 weeks maybe I have been experiencing this strange pain in my pelvic area, mainly affecting the area at my groins (both sides). It is quite hard to describe, but the best description I have is that it feels irritated, but there is no rash or anything like that.
Also, I got concerned because I have noticed in the last week that when I am lying down for a long time, like when I go to bed or sit down to watch the tele, I get this weird prickly hot sensation in my legs. I don't really notice it during the day, just when I go to sleep.
Other than that I don't feel unwell, I have got a normal appetite, no fatigue or nausea or anything like that, and I have been able to get about my day without any problem.
As I'm assuming you will naturally want to rule out pregnancy, I have had my period since I was last close to sex, and we didn't actually have sex.
I have only ever had one sexual partner, and he is the same, so I don't think it could be any sort of STI either.
Is there anything you can think this could be? Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Looks like infection ,kindly provide details
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
You have been recently treated for a urine infection and now you have this pain in the pelvic region .
Such a pain could either be due to pelvic inflammatory disease or due to urinary tract infection .
I would like to know if you have completed the antibiotic course prescribed. If yes ,when ?
Also is the discomfort over the skin or inside ?
What all are you applying over the skin ?Any antiseptics or creams ?
I am sure I will be able to help you better once you provide me the above details.

I finished the course of antibiotics yesterday, and if I'm honest, I don't know if the discomfort is inside or out, but I think inside as it doesn't seem to have any visible rash or anything, and I haven't applied anything to the skin.
Brief Answer:
Infection ,might need treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
The most likely reason for such a discomfort is either the persisting urine infection or a pelvic infection which might need further evaluation.
So my advise would be that you should try to see your treating doctor soon ,since you might need a repeat urine testing or other investigations.
Urine infection takes time to completely heal and it can cause discomfort in the whole of lower abdomen by causing inflammation .
In the meantime ,take plenty of fluids .
Take cranberry juice daily .
See your doctor soon .
