Question: It hurts when my nipple is pressed directly down toward my ribs. My cat does this from XXXXXXX to time while milching.

If the discomfort happens in both breasts, not just one, it is likely not a problem. Nipples can become more tender at certain times of the month, too, from effects of hormones.

However, if it is just one nipple, and it isn't due to injury, go in to see your doctor to have this checked to make sure nothing more concerning is going on underneath the nipple. Your doctor will do a breast exam, and may want to do an imaging study such as mammogram or ultrasound.
