Brief Answer:
Further assessment by Gastroscopy required

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Persistent pain in abdomen responding to acid suppressant like Omeprazole and recurring on stopping it requires thorough evaluation.

I would suggest you to get Gastroscopy done in consultation with your Physician. Long standing acid dyspepsia in an individual greater than 30 years of age requires assessment by Gastroscopy.

In the meantime I would suggest you the following

1. Avoid carbonated/alcohol/caffeinated beverages

2. Ensure good intake of water: 2- 3 liter a day

3. High fibre diet

4. Avoid oily and spicy food.

5. Consume small quantity of meals more frequently.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
