Question: Pain in AC joint. Began four months ago and I thought I had overdone it doing Pilates. It hurts all the time, even at rest, and I noticed that I have crepitus with rotation.

Brief Answer:
Usually non operative treatment helps

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Most of the time this pain can be managed by physiotherapy and avoiding certain overhead activities temporary beside pain killer drugs.Injection cortisone is a good alternative.
In patient not responding to above treatment,a surgical operation to remove a very small portion of clavicle(less than 1 cm. ) is done.
Hope this answers your query.
