What Causes Pain In The Area Between Scrotum And Anus?

Question: I get extreme pain in the area between my scrotum and anus, more toward my anus and on the sides of my scrotum by my thighs. Always uncomfortable and flares up when walking even if only for a couple of minutes. Unbearable to walk with. I have tried anti fungal creams, keeping area clean, changing clothes and wearing looser and tighter under clothes. I do not know what else to do or try.

Brief Answer: HI Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX I am Dr Mittal I would suggest getting a CT abdomen done I think there might be a possibility of a renal calculi or a hernia. The calculi usually cause pain in the abdomen or along the ureter. However the distribution of pain as stated by you is known in some cases Hernia may also cause pain as you described. Since mostly hernias would protrude, and since you have not mentioned it, i would think of that a little less Hope that helps Best of luck Dr Mittal
