                                    Brief Answer:
Bartholin cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I need a clarification here. Is it bursal cyst or Bartholin cyst?
Were you bleeding per vagina?
Which part the Ultrasound is being performed? Abdomen ?
If it is bartholin cyst it is normal bleed after sex.
Besides all cysts are to be excised or under scalpel to destroy. That is how the pain and bleeding controlled.
Please get back to me with Ultrasound report?

                                    Brief Answer:
Ovarian cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for clarification.
It is not normal to bleed. It is not related to appendix removed. It can be due to cyst and changes in the endometrial lining of the uterus as some cysts can influence hormones.
Perhaps the ultrasound would judge the size of the cyst when compared to last one. It also helps to understand the nature of the cyst.
THere are some benign and safe cysts as well that grow on the ovary.
