Question : I have a pain in on the right side of my groin area running from the top of my pelvic region to my right testicle. It feels like a strained ligament but has not subsided in over 3 weeks. My primary physician checked for any protrusions along the area and stated that it was likely arthritis. my initial reason for seeing my physician was due to blood in my semen and test came back showing that there was no blood in my urine. I am scheduled to see a urologist in a couple weeks. My immediate concern is the reason for the ache and pain in the groin area.

Brief Answer:
Testis inflamnation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms are most likely caused by some inflammation of your testicles, epidymis or even prostate. All this condiotions can give groin pain along with testis pain.
Blood in semen confirms that. You definitely should visit urologist. Testis ultrasound is the first test to be done.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
