Question : My wife is in her 7 month of pregnancy. In past 4 days, she is having severe pain in half of her face where head, forehead, eye, cheek and teeth are in pain. And all pain is happening in half face, she is not even able to swallow food or water.
We visited allopathy and Ayurvedic but both are refraining themselves for any medicine.
Could you please help what needs to be done in this case.

Brief Answer:
Consult a neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The pain you have described seems to be trigeminal neuralgia, which occurs due to compression of the trigeminal nerve.
Drugs like carbamezapine, Gabapentin can be given, which can be given in third trimester of pregnancy with due risk.
I will suggest you to consult a neurologist for proper examination, investigations and treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
