Question : I believe I may have a dislocated hip--I have severe pain when trying to walk, feel really nauseated and cannot walk without cane or assistance. I also have a painful bulge in my groin area. It also hurts beyond belief when I cough. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
Can be dislocation or infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
A painful bulge in groin area with extreme pain in hip can be due to a fracture dislocation or infection. A direct examination and investigations like X-ray or MRI scan are needed for proper diagnosis. You need to consult an orthopedician or attend an ER for this.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
