Question: I have been having shoulder pain for a couple months it aches from the top of my left shoulder down my left forearm. from there it goes across my collar bone to my neck I have serious range of motion pain in left shoulder when i put both hands behind my head and stress backwards the joint where the collar bone meets the neck becomes very painful . My son sunday 4 days ago patted my left arm on the outside which brought shooting pains into my chest so severe I started crying instantly.
while resting my left arm (being a passenger) on the console any jolt sends sharp pains up my arm to my shoulder and into my collar bone. any idea?

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
You are having frozen shoulder involving your left shoulder.
Is there any history of trauma?
Any diabetes?
You should take pain killers with muscle relaxant like etoricoxib or Aceclofenac with thiocholchicoside or tizanidine.
You can take pregabalin or gabapentin or amitryptiline for pain modulation.
Avoid lifting any object overhead and over shoulder.
Physiotherapy is required to get full range of movement back.
Nothing seems to be serious.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Pain may radiate in frozen shoulder to clavicular area too

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The movement of upper limb is dependent upon shoulder joint fixed by clavicle anteriorly and scapular posteriorly.
The frozen shoulder may involve pain at periscapular and lateral clavicular region along with shoulder joint.
It is advisable to get examined by a neurologist or an orthopaedic surgeon for planning imaging studies.
