                                            Question : Hello Doctor,
From past 6 months I am having pain in the left side of chest. Its not regular some time its spasm or sharp. It is always followed by gasses. I had done my ecg, TMT 5 months ago and appears normal. I had also undergone abdominal sonography and appears normal with mild fatty lever. Today I noticed that I am having the left side chest pains while I press my upper abdomine. Please advice.

you may have acid reflux
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX I have gone through your query.
Thanks for using HCM.In view of your young age,Normal ECG and normal TMT you don't have heart problem for sure.
It is quite likely that you have gastro oesophageal acid reflux.you take small frequent meals avoid spicy food, avoid smoking.maintain 3 hrs gap between meal and your sleep.also take PPI group of medicine along with anti reflux medicine like levosulpride.After2 weeks of this treatment if your symptoms continue you should undergo upper GI endoscopy.
My best wishes
