Brief Answer:
Oral anti spasmodic can help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mild pain in the lower abdomen can be due to impending periods. Since the periods are delayed, pregnancy should be ruled out after a urine test. Do continue with meprate as advised and see if the pain subsides with rest. In case the pain persists then she can take an over the counter anti spasmodic.
The pain can be due to intestinal colic or pelvic inflammation also.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound scan done and rule out pregnancy after a urine test.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
She can do the urine test now. If the pain is intense then it is best to consult a gynecologist and get an ultrasound scan done for confirmation. The bleeding after stopping Meprate should have started by now. Delay in periods is also worrisome.
Hope my answer is helpful.
