Question: Hi, I am having severe pain in the lowest point of my abdomen on both sides after urinating. It continues from when I am finished urinating for about an hour and moving makes it sharper.

May be a urinary tract infection.

Detailed Answer:
If you are peeing more often, my guess is that this is a urinary tract infection. If you are not maybe something else is going on such as an ovarian cyst. I would recommend that you see your gynecologist and have a simple urinary dipstick. If that is completely negative undergo pelvic exam. If the pelvic team fails to turn up an abnormality it will be time for an ultrasound to rule out pelvic problems. Sexually transmitted disease screening would also be indicated if you have any risk factors.
