What Causes Pain In The Lumbar Area And Red Discharge After An Hysterectomy?
Question: Approximately 25 years ago had total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries. Now I'm having pain on the right side, lumbar area. Over the past weekend I had a sudden discharge of clear fluid with some bright red blood afterwards. I am taking Levothyroxine because of having only half of my thyroid. Should I be concerned regarding discharge with blood following or could it be related to my thyroid medication?
