Question : I have pain at centre of chest i did xray it was ok ecg ok blood test tlc dlc hb and esr all was ok but pain is there . i am not able to take good sleep i wake up due to brethless XXXXXXX slight pain in my chest. it is happening since last one week. I had jaundice last year and i have slight acidity problem. iam posted at high altitude and it is cold as compared to where i used to live. i smoke avg of 3 cigrattes per day and drink alchohol twice a week.. pls suggest me what to do..

Hi

Since you are having pain in your chest and your X ray and ecg was normal you do not need to worry.
The pain could be due to the acidity you are having.
I will advise you to take proton pump inhibitor group of drugs and paracetamol tablets twice daily with doctors advise.

dear doctor last month when i came to joshimath from low altitude to high i had blocked ear and that day i got wet and when i was sleeping i had strong headache and when i woke up my nose was closed and neck choked i blew my nose hard seemed that something stuck at back of my nose i blew it hard and coughed very hard to take it out and blood came and i still do not know whether it came from back of nose or neck and after one month i am having chest problem what should i do.. pls suggest shold i go for ct scan of my chest i am afraid as i searched net it says symptom of lung cancer.. pls tell me what to do..

Hi

Sometimes when you go from from low altitude to high there could be bleeding from nose.

If you are having bleeding from coughing then i would advise you to go for CT scan of chest.

Since your x ray is normal i do not think it is lung cancer and you should not worry.
