Question : I have a constant debilating ache in the middle of lower abdomin. Have had it everyday for three years after a kidney stone attack. Starts in the morning after bowel movement and lasts all day. Had my bladder checked but they found nothing. Now they just keep me on pain meds. Would a laproscopy help to find out want it is. It has ruined my life completely. It is always a little better after lieing down for half a hour. But the minute I stand up it starts again. So frustrating. Please help

Yes, laparoscopy sometimes is a method of diagnostics especially if the reason of pain can not be identified with classic methods. So if you have had all possible tests including abdominal CT with oral contrast, colonoscopy, transvaginal ultrasound, blood work, urine analysis, urine culture test, you may have laparoscopy.
But as the pain is right on your C-section scar, most probable reason is tiny hernia in this area. So small that can not be seen in any tests. So before any laparoscopy, please discuss with a surgeon if he wont decide to explore your scar area and see if there is no hernia. Sometimes its the only way to diagnose it.
