Question : The pain I'm having is more in the outer area of my thigh...worse after being seated for a short time( car trips and in bed) Not sure if it is hip bursitis.. Any ideas?
Brief Answer:
It is more likely to be due to muscle fatigue.Clinical examination required

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through the details. Based on the location that you have mentioned, it does not seem to be a case of hip bursitis. However, it is not possible to comment definitively without clinical examination and correlation. Your pain is more likely to be occuring due to muscle fatigue. Taking juicy fruits like citrus fruits should help since they contain plenty of potassium which is required for effective muscle activity. Hot compress should provide relief.
Hope that helps.
