Brief Answer:
may be gastritis, irritation/inflammation of the stomach

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The area that you are describing seems to be the epigastrium which is where the stomach is located.

Tenderness in this area can be due to irritation/ inflammation of the stomach, this is called gastritis and it can also be associated with bloating.

You can consider trying medication such as pepcid or zantac though these can sometimes take a little while to kick in for some persons. Alternatively you can use one of these along with medication such as tums.
The two medications would increase each others effect.

The use of peppermint or ginger tea may be helpful as well

Rest from any greasy/fried/spicy or acidic foods.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask other questions
