Question : What is a solution for nerve pain in front RUQ? My pain is in my back in the flank and radiates around my RUQ and then to the middle of my chest. Sometimes it mimmicks that I'm having a heart attact. Is there a surgery that the nerve that causing the problems be cut out?

- Since when have you got such pain?
- Is it due to post herpes or trauma to spine or what is the reason of you getting such pains?
- Any investigations like MRI/ consultation with Neurologist/ Neuro Surgeon done to confirm the diagnosis and cause of it?
- What are dosages of the medicines you are taking.

I can understand the plight one goes through such neuralgic pains.
It looks that Pregabalin and Gabapentin are not working.
May be the doses needs adjustment.
Neurolysis is done only if the pain is not treatable by the medicines.
This can be done by many methods.
