Question : Hey, I drank a shit ton yesterday along with not eating much... This morning the roof of my mouth is extremely sore especially while eating and I have a white discoloring along the outsides of the roof of my mouth as well. Please let me know if there is a good remedy for this or if not how long will it take to go away?

Brief Answer:
thrush.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

From your description is sounds like you have thrush or a fungal infection in your mouth. When your immune system is compromised like after drinking and eating poorly you can get opportunistic infections. The most common type of opportunistic infection is a fungal infection in the mouth or what we call thrush. To fully treat this infection you will need to see your doctor and have the start an oral antifungal medication. I would also recommend to stop drinking alcohol and eat a good well balanced diet.

In summary
1. Possible Thrush
2. See your doctor for oral antifungal
3. Stop all alcohol
4. Eat better diet.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns and questions
