What Causes Pain In The Testicle?

Question: When I wake in the morning, my testicles hurt. Not a sharp pain, but they hurt. I have a bad hip, but just saw a doctor and he said that was not a symptom. 55 years old, male.

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you ave posted pain in testicle could be inflammation of Spermatic cord (Funcullitis) ,Epididymis (Epididymitis) or testicle (Orchitis .
However precise can be confirmed on clinical examination by a qualified Urologist .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum .
3) Serum PSA.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

In the mean while you can take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.
