                                    Brief Answer:
Gastro esophageal reflux and associated throat irritation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastro esophageal reflux and associated throat irritation. Taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole (Nexium) will be helpful for this. You can take this for 1 week. Warm saline gargle is also good.
If there is no improvement then need to consult your GP or ENT specialist to rule out throat infection and need for antibiotics.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
