Brief Answer:
No specific indication of kidney failure...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This unilateral pain need not be due to kidney failure. Kidney failure commonly presents with reduced / absent urine production, swollen limbs and belly and breathing difficulties. Pain in the right kidney does not arouse my suspicion about kidney failure.

But as the pain is lasting more than 3 days, it would be worthwhile to get an ultrasound scan and a urine test which will rule out causes like a cyst, a stone or an urine infection. Your local doctor will know about these tests.

Hope this answered your question.
