Brief Answer:
Pain is most likely due to reflux disorder.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic.

The cardiac event at an age of 30 is very unlikely unless you are a chain smoker or have a strong family history of cardiac disease.

History of GERD is suggestive of the event to be gastric in origin.
GERD often mimics symptoms of cardiac pain.

So most likely going through your history there are two possibilities:
1) Pain due to Heart burn(most likely)
2) Muscular pain

Initially, to rule out cardiac involvement, please get an ECG and 2-D Echo done. Both electrical activity and mobility of heart would be studied in these tests. If its normal, simply start taking Proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole 40 mg in the combination of over the counter antacids for few days. Most likely the pain would respond to it.

Please don't panic and just follow what I suggested.

If it helps relieve the pain, then it is again an indicator that pain is noncardiac in origin.

Hope I answered your query.
Feel free to ask any other query.

Wishing you good health,
Regards.
