Brief Answer:
vaginitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
The pain in vagina can be due to vaginal infection or vaginitis . So a VAGINAL SWAB CULTURE SHALL BE NECESSARY to check for infection. please visit your gynecologist for a per speculum exam. This is unrelated to pregnancy mostly.

Detailed Answer:
During early pregnancy, there is often pain in both flanks due to laxity of uterosacral ligament under rising progesterone effect. That is normal and can be controlled with hot fomentation or paracetamol 500mg stat dose.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You earlier said that you were 4 weeks?
If its 4 months then any pain needs to be further evaluated with an ultrasound pelvis to look for the cause and a high vaginal swab culture shall be mandatory. The scan due as of now would be your SCAN for nuchal translucency test which is done between 12-15 weeks.
However vaginal swab culture may be taken to rule out especially bacterial vaginosis, which can cause preterm labour in future if infection remains persistent.
