possibility of hip arthritis with impingement.

Hello
I have read your query.
As per your age and history there is possibility of hip arthritis with femoro acetabular impingement.
If you can send your x ray report then I can help you better.
You may need MRI scan of hip for further details.
Till time good physiotherapy like ten and matrix may help you.
Hip assisted exercises will help.

Thank you. I did have a mri taken, and it did show bone on bone. When I lift my right leg, the upper part of my leg and back hurts. Is that from the hip? I do have degenerative disc disease of my lower back also, but I am assuming the pain I am getting in my groin, upper leg and lower back is from my hip. Am I right to assume this? Thanks again
Brief Answer:
this can be due to spine disc also
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Pain on posterior aspect of thigh, back and hip and leg can be arising from spine.
Disc disease can lead to pain on posterior aspect of hip and back.
Pain arising from hip is usually anteriorly in groin and anterior thigh and knee.
