Question : My big toe aches so much when I am in bed. It isn't red or swollen. it doesn't hurt to walk on it either. It's just this deep dull ache when I'm om bed. I think it's more on the top of the joint rather than the bottom of it. Any ideas?

This sounds like gout to me.

I would try to get to see a doctor. medication can eliminate symptoms with hours.
