Question: Hello,
My wife who is mother of 2.5 year old kid, use to feel pain in her right breast. We feel that since son did not feed due to not-so-developed nipple so is the pain.
Please tell is if it is a specific reason or we have something to worry about. Please suggest if there is some medication of it?

Brief Answer:
Exact diagnosis should be made

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pain in unilateral breast two and half years after childbirth is unlikely due to non breast feeding.
It can be due to cyclical mastalgia, fibroadenoma or fibroadenosis, or ductal ectasia.
I will suggest her to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated using ultrasound and get appropriate treatment timely.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
