Brief Answer:
Needs evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam ,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that from the history and the tests you have undergone it seems like that you have been extensively evaluated . Since you have already taken treatment for oesophagitis and pantaprazole did not work its a little bit tricky.

If your treating doctor think that muscles can be the cause then get muscle enzymes done like CPK , LDH , Aldolase . If any of them is elevated the there is a point in evaluation otherwise not .

Sometimes regurgitation is the cause of chest pain which is also called as heart burn for which prokinetics have to be prescribed which you have not received . Something like mozapride should be tried . You can discuss this with your doctor .

Take care.

Dr. Shruti
