Question : I was diagnosed with gallbladder dyskinesia. A hida with ejection fraction of 15, in pain on my back and right upper quadrant for more than 2 months daily. My pain get worst during the afternoon and night. My surgeon recommended surgery, I have my doubts. Does my pain will resolve after surgery? It is normal for gallbladder my pain start a few minutes after eating. I am on a low fat diest. It is a normal symptom to have daily pain episodes?

Could also be due to Gastric Ulcers.

HI
Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.
The site of pain and the timing of pain corresponds very well to Gall bladder problems . Though only dyskinesia with Gall bladder stone is less likely to cause pain but it can't be said that it is impossible .
The only other condition that can mimic Gall bladder problem is Ulcer in your Stomach. So I would advise you to get Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to check for ulcers , if there are Ulcers then treatment of ulcers will relieve your problems and there will be no need for surgery.
Hope this information is useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.

Every time I am in pain i feel itching on my skin. I have mild fatty liver but my liver is not inflammed. Its normal in size according to the ultrasound and hida scan. It that because of my gallbladder dyskinesia?

                                    Brief Answer:
Itching is due to raised Bilirubin.
Detailed Answer:
HI
Itching over the skin can be due to Gall bladder problem indirectly . It means Gall Bladder dyskinesia causes reduced secretion of bile into the gut . As a result of this Total Bilirubin level increases . A rise in Bilirubin can cause Itching.
I advise you to get Total and Direct Bilirubin levels tested and if it is elevated ask your doctor for a prescription of Udihep , this shall reduce your Itching.
Your fatty liver could be due to either Alcohol intake or Physical Inactivity or Diabetes or high Cholesterol levels. If you consume alcohol abstain from it . Increase your physical activity by doing brisk walking or jogging and get your Blood sugars and Cholesterol tested.
Hope this information was useful to you .
