Hi
Thanks for writing in
Was it a hiatus hernia that was operated for ?
What was the surgery done ?
Was it open or laparoscopic ?
Have you been investigated for endoscopy and/or ultrasound after surgery ?
In all prevailing circumstances start a proton pump inhibitor and a domperidone tablet before breakfast and before dinner

Brief Answer:
Not exactly
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the information
I would say nothing to worry about but on a safer side go for a followup endoscopy to rule out any acute excacerbation of inflammation or reoccurance of hernia
If you are obese try to loose weight
If under stress manage your stress levels
Hope this helps
DO write back in case of concern
